What is this line graph maker?
Meiku Charts' free line graph maker turns pasted rows of values into a live line or area graph with one or several lines, smooth, straight or step curves, ready to export or embed.
How to make a line graph
- Paste your data with labels in the first column and one column per line, or load a CSV file.
- Choose line or area and a smooth, straight or step curve; leave a cell empty to show a gap.
- Download a PNG or SVG for a slide or document, copy the embed code for a web page, or copy a link that reopens the chart with your data.
When should I use a line graph instead of a bar graph?
Use a line graph when the labels follow an order, usually time, and the trend between points matters. Use bars when you compare separate categories that could be listed in any order, such as products, teams or countries.
How do I show missing data on a line graph?
Leave the cell empty. The line breaks at the gap instead of dropping to zero, so readers can see that the value is missing rather than reading a fall that never happened.
Can I put several lines on one graph?
Yes. Add one column per series next to the labels; each becomes its own colored line with a legend. Keep it to about four lines, because past that the colors get hard to tell apart.
Is this free and private?
Yes. This maker builds line and area graphs in your browser. Your chart data stays on your device, with no signup or maker usage limit. Free PNG and SVG exports carry a meikucharts.com mark; Free embeds keep the “Made with Meiku Charts” credit. Pro removes these marks and lets you choose your own credit line or no credit. Cloudflare Web Analytics measures anonymous page views, sets no cookies and never sees chart data. Pro license checks are explained in our Privacy policy.
How do I activate Pro?
Copy your Pro key from the Polar customer portal using your checkout email address, then enter it in your account and select “Activate Pro”. For clean exports in another browser, select “Use Pro in this browser”. Follow How to turn on Pro for websites, exports and the AI connector.
How do I embed the chart on my own page?
Click “Copy embed” to copy a script tag plus a <live-chart> element carrying
your current spec as JSON. Paste it into any HTML page and the chart renders live — no build
step required. The embed loads one hosted file from meikucharts.com.
Can I export the chart as an image?
Yes. “Download PNG” renders the current chart onto an offscreen canvas at 2x resolution and downloads it — useful for slides, docs, or anywhere embedding live HTML isn’t practical.
